The cost estimate indicated in this segment includes the cost of
construction, the engineering design and construction quality assurance fees,
the preliminary and construction materials testing, Right-of-Way Acquisition,
and Administrative cost for the Program.
This is a four-year Program.
Therefore, the intent is to have the last of the 81 Projects in this Program
started by October 2000.

RESURFACE - This may include widening of existing pavement, patching, leveling,
resurfacing, shoulder work, pavement markings, intersection improvements,
drainage improvements, and additional laneage. |

RESURFACE - This
may include patching, leveling, and resurfacing of the existing width of paved
road, minor drainage improvements, pavement markings, and intersection
improvements. |

GRADE, DRAIN,
BASE & PAVE - This may include clearing, grubbing, grade, drain, base,
pave, guardrail, intersection improvements, pavement markings and Right of Way
acquisition. |

Administration of this project will be performed by the Alabama Department of
Transportation. This project will be funded by 80% Federal funds and 20% County
funds. |

maximum of $600,000.00 reimbursement of construction funds by Mobile
County. |
