Mobile County Building Maintenance

The Building Maintenance Department is the focal point for Mobile County facility preservation. We facilitate the maintenance, construction, expansion, remodeling, and repair of various county owned and leased facilities.

The Building Maintenance Department provides services to: Mobile County Commissioners, Mobile County Sheriff Department, Mobile County License Commissioner, Mobile County Revenue Commissioner, Mobile County Communication District, Mobile County Court System and other facilities as directed by the County Commissioners

Building Maintenance employs a staff of approximately 50 highly skilled professional Supervisors, Trades and Crafts, Supply and Administrative personnel. In addition to responding to daily service requests and performing planned maintenance, Building Maintenance personnel respond 24/7 to emergency service request situations involving matters of public safety, the destruction of, or imminent degradation of the facilities with which we have been assigned.
